Anders is a well-known award winning percussionist who have been working with Brazilian music for many years.

Anders also organizes the Carnival in Oslo from 2012, and have brought back the tradition of carnival in Norway that stopped during the 80's.

Anders studied jazz drums at Hallingdal Folkehøyskole, and played drums and percussion since he was 11 years old. In 2003 he began teaching percussion and have been the instructor in Unidos de Oslo since the samba school started in 2011.

The Carnival in Oslo had its era in the mid-80s, but was closed in 1986 due to filthy streets and shortage of money to clean up after the party. Anders has in recent years worked to get the carnival tradition back to Norway through closer cooperation with authorities.
